This pastel, T01678
and one in the Louvre called 'Woman at her Toilet in a Landscape' are all similar in style and have the same form of signature. They must have been made within a short time of one another, but are difficult to date exactly owing to the fact that there is no dated work later than 1905. They differ from the drawings done at the very end of his life such as T01668
and T01675, and can be tentatively dated c.1905-6.
