Technique and condition
The image is painted in watercolour and gouache applied over a pencil underdrawing on cream wove paper. It has suffered a small amount of damage and discolouration from its mount.
On acquisition the work was removed from its mount prior to being pressed, inlaid and mounted onto white museum board.
