Purchased from the artist (Grant-in-Aid) 1983
This print was made from torn papers inked and printed. The image is from the universally loved character from Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse's dog Pluto. Self made this monoprint and other drawings inscribed to his children having been deeply affected by a postcard sent to him by his uncle during the war. There is another of Pluto with collaged photographs of the children and another of Mickey Mouse.
