Catalogue entry

With the page turned horizontally, a bridge with at least three arches is silhouetted in the middle distance, with a succession of hills or headlands beyond; the lack of obvious landmarks makes the view difficult to place, but it is presumably within a reasonable radius of Plymouth. The subjects as far as folio 127 recto (D09358) are all identified or presumed sites within a few miles, suggesting a series of fairly short excursions.
Technical notes:
There is slight staining at the bottom of the drawing.
Verso:
Blank
