Catalogue entry

These indications of Turner’s transfer process are on the back of Diagram 55 (Tate D17076; Turner Bequest CXCV 106). Turner traced the drawing to make the guiding lines of Diagram 56 (Tate D17079; Turner Bequest CXCV 109) representing a Tuscan entablature in perspective, as well as those of a diagram left unfinished (Tate D17077).
