This sketch, rendered with the book turned upside down, shows the Old Town Square in Prague. The Old Town Hall’s medieval tower can be seen at left, with Tyn Church at centre delineated in faint and loose line. See Tate D30366; Turner Bequest CCCI 37 for a study of Tyn Church. The notes ‘C[...]’ | ‘[...] P[...]’ top left are inscribed at top left.
