Catalogue entry

The main subject, as Ian Warrell recognised,1 is the Church of Notre-Dame and St-Laurent, Eu, seen from the north-west. On the right are the roofs of the north end of the nearby Château d’Eu; for other views see under folio 21 verso (D35525).
1
See Warrell 1995, p.40.
Technical notes:
There is some brown staining at the gutter and at the edge, possibly indicating water damage in the 1928 Tate flood.
