Catalogue entry

The Turner scholar C.F. Bell annotated Finberg’s 1909 Inventory entry (‘Interior of Milan Cathedral’): ‘South aisle looking East’.1 The tracery above the crossing is seen through the forest of Gothic pillars at the centre. There is a similar study on folio 12 recto (D14344).
See under folio 2 recto (D14328), showing the west front of the cathedral, for other Milan views.
