Catalogue entry

Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, this is a continuation of the drawing on folio 90 verso opposite (D02595), under which the subject is discussed.
Technical notes:
Although the double–page view appears effectively continuous, a leaf has been cut out leaving a stub between the two halves, and Turner appears to have avoided drawing all the way to the gutter; see the technical notes in the sketchbook’s Introduction for the various leaves extracted from it.
