Mataaho Collective

Joined by the guest curator Java Bentley, Mataaho Collective invite participants to engage in a collaborative weaving activity, embodying the teaching and learning environment of Te Whare Pora from Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Mataaho Collective is a collaboration between the Māori women Terri Te Tau, Bridget Reweti, Sarah Hudson and Erena Arapere-Baker, who produce large-scale woven textile installations grounded in the contemporary realities of Māori customary practice.
