Join us for an extra special sensory exploration of the sculpture garden at the Barbara Hepworth Museum.

Designed specifically for visitors who are blind or partially sighted and their friends, the session includes detailed spoken descriptions and guided exploration of the garden with a focus on the plants and trees that create this magical environment for Hepworth’s sculptures. Numbers at each session are limited to ensure exploration of the garden is tailored to participants.

In the event of adverse weather please call the gallery on 01736 796226.

Join us for an extra special sensory exploration of the sculpture garden at the Barbara Hepworth Museum. Designed specifically for visitors who are blind or partially sighted and their friends, the session includes detailed spoken descriptions and guided exploration of the garden. At all events we will be accompanied by our team of guides who will be available to offer personal guiding using rambletags. If you haven’t used a rambletag before, it is a guiding cuff which means that you have no hand on arm physical touching with your guide. In addition, we always offer earphones for additional hearing support, large print and gallery chairs.

If wheelchair access is required, please call 01736 791177 in advance of the event.
