This is a chance to become part of our group of young creatives at Tate St Ives. Working with artists and the Tate St Ives team you will create and produce activities, installations and events for young audiences at the gallery.
We don't expect you to have previous experience– all you need is a desire to get creative, experiment and collaborate.
Sessions are free with travel expenses, refreshments and materials provided.

Session Programme 2026/27
4 October:
Tate Collective Producers welcome session. Join us for an introduction to the Tate Collective Producers programme. Meet other Tate Collective Producers and the Tate St Ives team. Take part in a workshop and Q&A with Teylu visiting artist Tyreis Holder.
Tyreis Holder is an artist, poet, visual storyteller and community arts practitioner from South London, with heritage from Jamaica and St Vincent. She works across installation, textiles, performance, poetry, sculpture and sound. Her practice centres around explorations of selfhood, Black Caribbean British identity politics and ancestral healing.
18 October:
Studio session with Blooom Cornwall. Work with artists Pink Baby and Scamp to build a drag character and experiment with costuming and makeup.
8 November:
Studio session with Blooom Cornwall. Work with artists Pink Baby and Scamp to explore sculptural textures and shapes through movement and choreography. This session will include a visit to a participatory installation by Leap then Look in our Foyle Studio and a workshop with dancer Winona Guy.
22 November:
Studio Session with Blooom Cornwall. Work with artists Pink Baby and Scamp to create costumes, stage backdrops and props for performance.
17 January:
U Studio Festival co-curating and programming. Explore our U Studio Festival brief and develop your skills in planning, production, logistics and access.
31 January:
U Studio Festival co-curating and programming. Develop ideas and plan for our festival programme. Bring your ideas to life with support from the Tate St Ives team.
7 February:
Studio Session with Blooom Cornwall. Work with artists Pink Baby and Scamp to bring together our collaborative work ready to share at U Studio Festival 2027.
28 February:
U Studio Festival Rehearsal and Event Briefing. Get ready to take over Tate St Ives at our U Studio Festival. We will work together to prepare everything we need for the day and finalise our projects ready to share with audiences.
13 March:
U Studio Festival. Take over Tate St Ives and host U Studio Festival 2027 alongside the Tate St Ives team.

Our Tate Collective Producers are the young people’s group at Tate St Ives. They meet up regularly to work alongside artists, create art, devise workshops, social events and exhibitions at the gallery as part of Tate Collective.
*Tate Collective Producers in Tate St Ives is open to young people aged 15-25 in Cornwall. Due to expected demand, and our need to limit numbers so everyone gets a good experience from the sessions, please contact us in good time to reserve your place.
Blooom Cornwall is a trans-led, community-based arts and events company. Their work is rooted in collaboration, joy, and resistance, using art and performance as tools for self-expression, protest and centring underrepresented voices across Cornwall and beyond.
Tate St Ives is located on Porthmeor Beach. There is a ramp up to the gallery entrance alongside stairs with a handrail.
There are lifts to all Levels of the gallery, or alternatively you can take the stairs.
- Accessible and standard toilets are on Level 3, next to Gallery 6.
- A Changing Places toilet is on Level 3, next to Gallery 1.
- Ear defenders can be borrowed from the information desk.
