Art Now: Janice Kerbel

7 May – 15 August 2010

From a starting point of meticulous research, Janice Kerbel's pared-down works take shape as prints, books, scripts and sound works.

For Art Now Kerbel presents a selection of print-based works including new work from Remarkable – text-based poster prints that imagine extraordinary beings and acts in the style of a nineteenth-century fairground attractions. Behind Kerbel's diverse works lies a facination with the possibility of realising an impossible event or encounter.

Kerbel is a Canadian artist based in Britain.
