Nick Waplington, Untitled, 2008-2009

Join us for an audio descriptive tour of the exhibition Nick Waplington/Alexander McQueen: Working Process which presents the result of a unique collaboration between artist Nick Waplington (b. 1965) and the acclaimed fashion designer Alexander McQueen (1969–2010).  Providing a rare behind-the-scenes account of fashion’s most innovative and celebrated names, Waplington’s photographs capture the creative journey of McQueen’s final Autumn/Winter collection, Horn of Plenty in 2009.

This tour is lead by Emily Stone and Sam McGuire. The talk will take place seated in the gallery with trained picture describers giving a detailed and fascinating description of the works. Sighted companions and guide dogs are welcome. Please join us in the Manton Studio for tea and coffee from 10.30 before the tour.

If you have any other access needs that you would like to let us know about please contact: Anna Murray, Assistant Curator: Access anna.murray@tate.org.uk or call +44 (0)20 7887 8888
