Join the exhibition curators for an in-depth insight into the exhibition

Find out more about Vincent van Gogh’s time in England as a young man. In this talk you will hear about his passion for graphic art and prints, the inspiration he took from the streets of London, the literature of Charles Dickens and William Shakespeare, and the works of John Constable and John Everett Millais.

The hour-long talk by Carol Jacobi (May) and Hattie Spires (June) will be followed by a private view of the exhibition.

Biography

Carol Jacobi

Carol Jacobi is Curator of British Art 1850–1915 at Tate Britain and a specialist on 19th-century British art.
