Join us in the 1840's Gallery at the heart of Tate Britain for poetic and musical responses to Hew Locke's breathtaking installation: The Procession. The afternoon will offer the last chance to see the commission in the Duveen's gallery at Tate Britain and listen to selected readings and music.

Roger Robinson
Roger Robinson is the recipient of the T.S. Eliot Prize and RSL Ondaatje Prize for APortable Paradise, which was also a New Statesman Book of the Year. He has been commissioned by The National Trust, the V&A, and the National Portrait Gallery, amongst others, and is a co-founder of Malika’s Poetry Kitchen and Spoke Lab.
Kobi Ayensuo
Kobi Essah Ayensuo is a poet, musician, theatre-maker creative of many hats based in London. Their practice often explores the intersections of their queer identity, Ghanaian heritage; navigating relationships and reimagining and decolonising the lens with which black history is told. Currently, Kobi Essah is a Barbican Young Poet and a Roundhouse Resident Artist.
muva of Earth
muva of Earth is a London born and raised alternative jazz singer and ASCENDING SOULSTRESS from tribe ‘Crown of Ọṣun’ in Yorubaland, Nigeria. By connecting to her roots, muva of Earth’s music explores the complexities of identity, the self and human connections over a bed of afrofuturistic rhythms and atmospheric horns.
Tate Britain's step-free entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.
There is a lift between the Lower and Main floors. Alternatively you can take the stairs.
- Accessible and standard toilets are located on the Lower floor.
- A Changing Places toilet is not currently available.
- Ear defenders can be borrowed from the ticket desk on the Lower floor.
