Join artist and filmmaker Isaac Julien and fellow filmmaker, curator and founding director of Queercircle, Ashley Joiner as they discuss how the framework of queer culture has permeated Isaac’s work and poetic approach to filmmaking over decades.
This conversation will draw on key works within the exhibition and examine the role cultural spaces like Queercircle play in society.
This conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
