Meet the author-illustrator of Tate publication In Our Hands.

Listen to a reading of In Our Hands, a story about a group of determined children who re-introduce colour to the world and build a better future for everyone, by Newcastle based Caribbean-English author-illustrator Lucy Farfort, winner of Faber Children’s inaugural FAB Prize.

Take part in creative activities with Lucy and add your own pledge for change in your community to our kindness trees on-site.

BSL interpreted. Please note photography will be taking place.

In partnership with the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education. Find out more about their Back to School teaching unit around In Our Hands here.

For ages 5 – 12 years, families of all ages welcome.
