Orlando lives for 400 years. His story begins in the court of Elizabeth I, where he is a young man in search of love and freedom. Centuries later, he continues the journey as a woman.
Tilda Swinton leads the cast in Sally Potter’s bold and beautiful film, based on the novel by Virginia Woolf. Witty, romantic and full of striking images, Orlando is a story about identity, desire and the freedom to become who you are.
