Under Fives Explore the Gallery

 © Tate

Ever wondered how to get the most out of a visit to the gallery with children under the age of five?

Come to Tate Britain and join performance artist Ashley-Louise McNaughton to explore different ways of experiencing the galleries. Be led by your children’s unpredictability to discover, as a family, playful ways of encountering art and architecture, that you may have not thought possible before.

Alongside other families, discover exciting routes through the galleries and make your own personal connections with the collection.

This session is developed by artist Ashley-Louise McNaughton with Tate’s Early Years and Families Team.

Be the first to hear about activities for families – sign up to the Tate email newsletter.

We encourage young people to explore art and idea to take ownership of the gallery
