Floating World presents a series of visual and dynamic performances inspired by the works of Turner, Monet and Twombly. Through storytelling, music, installation and multimedia visitors will be taken on a journey exploring the influence of mythology on the three artists and their artistic practice.
Directed by Montserrat Gili from Hope Street Limited, Floating World has been conceived as part of Hope Street’s six month Emerging Artists’ Programme.
Floating World can be viewed as two stand alone performances at Everton Park and Tate Liverpool however, viewers are encouraged to immerse themselves in the performance by travelling with strange ghostly figures in a dream like world, guiding them from Everton Park to Tate Liverpool.
