Join artist Mikhail Karikis for a special online discussion

Join us online for the screening of an exciting talk with artist Mikhail Karikis and Curator of the Lisboa Sao Festival Raquel Castro. The event will be chaired by Professor Jonathan Harris, Birmingham City University.

This event is a collaboration between Tate Liverpool and Lisboa Sao Festival, Portugal (24-27 September 2020).

Biographies

Mikhail Karikis

Mikhail Karikis is a Greek/British artist based in London and Lisbon. His new audio-visual installation, Ferocious Love, is currently on display at Tate Liverpool.

Raquel Castro

Raquel Castro is a curator and researcher focusing on sound theory and practice. She is a post-doc researcher at Cicant / Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon) and is the artistic director of Lisboa Soa, a festival of art and contemporary sound practices.

Jonathan Harris

Professor Jonathan Harris is an Art Historian and Head of School, The School of Art, Birmingham City University.
