Are you a Primary school teacher looking to develop your art skills? Join us for a free artist-led creative workshop designed to support Liverpool City Region Primary teachers with key art-making skills

Join us for a creative workshop for Liverpool City Region Primary teachers.

Meet and get support from artists to explore techniques and approaches that could be used in the classroom. These introductory workshops are designed to support teachers with developing practical skills to use in the teaching of art and design. You will get chance to meet and learn from artists who will share advice, provide an introduction to key techniques and introduce approaches that could be used in school.

This workshop focuses on drawing with artist Jon Barraclough. We will also be offering a Teachers' Workshop: Introduction to Painting in the New Year. More information coming soon.

These workshops are suitable for beginners, those new to teaching art and design or looking to develop their practical art making skills.

Hot drinks and cake will be provided. You'll also be able to take some art materials home with you to keep experimenting after the workshop.

Workshops are free but limited places available so booking is essential.

Jon Barraclough is a maker of drawings, photographer, film-maker, teacher and researcher. Born in Bradford, Yorkshire UK, currently resident in Liverpool.
