Are you curious? Are you bored? Or just looking for something to do?

Meet artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley to do some sketching, sculpture-making and animation using yourself and artwork in the galleries as inspiration. Create alter-egos using rubber, fake nails and hair, playing with tech and sound to bring them to life.

You don’t have to be an artist. Just come along and join in.

This event is aimed at 8–14 year olds and their families, but families of all ages are welcome. Due to the materials used, this event is not suitable for very young children. Please speak to one of the Learning Assistants for more details on the day.

Places are given on a first come first served basis on the day. You do not need to book for this event just drop in on the day.

Please note 8-14's Studio at Tate Modern will be changing from September.

We encourage young people to explore art and idea to take ownership of the gallery
