UNIQLO Tate Play Make Studio: Celebrate

Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays 26 February–25 May except during School holidays
A man and a child play on the floor

Rob Harris

Rip, snip, stick, cut and create wonderful collage in our weekend Make Studio

Explore the world of Surrealism and bring your dreams to life by making a magical montage inspired by something or someone special in your life. Maybe it’s the pet who never leaves your side, the pal you can’t be without or an exciting achievement worth shouting about – it’s totally up to you.

And for those with younger members of the family, on Wednesdays we’ve set up a sensory play area for under 5’s to explore. We’ll use a mixture of projection, sound and shadows, to help them make their own layered art creations!

UNIQLO Tate Play: Make Studios are lively, free drop-in workshops where families can enjoy creativity together with fun, hands-on experiences inspired by what’s on display at Tate Modern. You can take your artwork home or leave it to spark ideas for others.
