We've teamed up with Verdant Brewing to create two special-edition beers inspired by Frida: The Making of an Icon at Tate Modern.
Join us on 10 July to celebrate the launch with a full Verdant tap takeover at Corner, featuring beers from the brewery alongside live DJs throughout the evening.
The exhibition will be open late as part of Tate Modern's extended opening hours, giving you the chance to explore Frida: The Making of an Icon after hours.
The launch party at The Corner is free to attend
About the beers
Would Give Her Flowers (4.5% Lager)
A Mexican-style lager inspired by Frida Kahlo’s love of native flora, much of which filled the gardens of La Casa Azul. Light, crisp and refreshing, it reflects the natural world that shaped her visual language.
Tender Thorns (6.5% IPA)
Brewed as a companion to I Would Give Her Flowers, this hazy IPA is juicy and expressive, with a gentle bitterness beneath. It references the contrast and complexity found throughout Kahlo’s work, where beauty and resilience often sit side by side.
