Natural Jazz x Voices Radio

3 October 2025 at 18.30–23.00
7 November 2025 at 18.30–23.00

Celebrate the first Friday of Tate Modern’s late openings with live jazz by Voices Radio and a curated selection of wines from Tate’s cellar

Natural Jazz brings together musicians who meet on stage for the first time to create raw, unrehearsed, live improvised jazz. This session features London jazz heavyweights: Myele Manzanza on drums (@myelemanzanza), Rio Kai on bass (@Kai_creative), Mei Kirby on piano (@yume_net), and James Akers on saxophone (@james__akers), with an accompanying vinyl DJ set from Kit Lockey (@kit1). Guests can enjoy a curated selection of wines from Tate’s cellar alongside natural wine picks from Pour Choices Wine Fair, and board games will be available to enjoy between sets.

Tate Collective members receive a 20% discount on food and drink.

About Voices Radio

Voices Radio is one of the UK’s fastest-growing community radio stations, broadcasting from King’s Cross and dedicated to championing diversity in the creative industries. Established in 2020 from the nomadic club series Ossia, Voices provides a platform for emerging and established artists, hosts free workshops, and offers paid opportunities to creatives from underrepresented backgrounds, creating an inclusive space for music, discussion, and performance.

All Tate Modern entrances are step-free. You can enter via the Turbine Hall and into the Natalie Bell Building on Holland Street, or into the Blavatnik Building on Sumner Street.

There are lifts to every floor of the Blavatnik and Natalie Bell buildings. Alternatively you can take the stairs.

  • Fully accessible toilets are located on every floor on the concourses.
  • A quiet room is available to use in the Natalie Bell Building on Level 4.
  • Ear defenders can be borrowed from the Ticket desks.
