French electronic music pioneer Laurent Garnier joins forces with chef Alexis Bijaoui for a one-night only event that brings together sound and food in an immersive evening format. The event is part of {PAIRED}, a series created in collaboration with Tate’s Corner team and our friends at Carousel and AVA, pairing DJs and chefs across a shared creative space.
The evening begins with a multi-course tasting menu from Bijaoui, whose cooking is rooted in nature, emotion and craftsmanship, drawing on experience at kitchens including L’Arpège and Le Chateaubriand. Each dish is designed in response to Garnier’s music, setting the tone for the night ahead.
Following dinner, the floor is cleared and Garnier takes over the space for a late-night DJ set until 02.00. With a career spanning more than three decades – from early sets at Manchester’s Haçienda to headline appearances across the world – Garnier brings a rare intimacy to this small-scale London date.
