NANU- SÁMI ARTS INTERNATIONAL: TAKEOVER

16 October 2025 at 20.00–23.00

RIDDU RiĐĐU Ørjan Marakatt Bertelsen

Join us for a takeover by the NANU-Sámi Arts International, presenting an evening of music and performance from across Sápmi.

This will be a special one-off night where Sámi artists bring innovative sounds and music making to The Corner. Together, they will offer audiences a rare and resonant glimpse into the evolving future of Sámi music. It’s a unique chance to experience sounds and performances that are rarely staged in the UK.

About the NANU-Sámi Arts International

The NANU-Sámi Arts International unites two leading forces in Sámi culture:

Dáiddadállu, a Sámi artist network based in Guovdageaidnu / Kautokeino

Riddu Riđđu Festivála, the internationally acclaimed Indigenous music and culture festival held annually in Olmmáivággi/Manndalen.

Together, they amplify Sámi artists on the global stage, offering audiences unforgettable encounters with the evolving future of Indigenous creativity.

The takeover follows Máret Ánne Sara’s artist talk in the Turbine Hall 19.00–20.30, marking the opening of her new Hyundai Commission.
