Collage of portrait photorgaphs of each of the speakers: Charlotte Fiell, Clementine Fiell, Faye Toogood, Ineke Hans and Kim Colin.

Join Charlotte Fiell and Clementine Fiell as they bring together a group of women designers to discuss their new book

This special panel talk brings together a range of voices from the world of design: Faye Toogood, Ineke Hans and Kim Colin.

The discussion will consider women’s design achievements and reflect on issues of under-recognition and under-representation. Panellists will also share perspectives inspired by their own design practice, asking how we can ensure that future generations of women designers are motivated.

Women in Design celebrates over a century of female creativity and ingenuity within all areas of design, including fashion, textiles, furniture, lighting, product, automotive, industrial, graphic and interactive as well as architecture.

Featuring more than 100 profiles of pioneering women designers, such as Ray Eames, Charlotte Perriand and Zaha Hadid, the book also introduces the fascinating and often untold stories of lesser-known designers who have shaped and enriched the story of design.

This event is in collaboration with Laurence King.
