Join us for a series of summer events this August as we welcome you back with music, making, film and wellbeing sessions.
Wellbeing: Gong Bath with Junior Valentine
8 August 14.00–15.00, 16.00–17.00
South Room, Blavtanik Building, Level 6
This session is sensory without the need for touch. Junior Valentine’s Gong Baths are a sound massage for the body and mind. Sit down, relax and experience the transformational effects of gong vibration.
You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat with you. We will also have yoga mats and chairs available.
Workshop: Dada Drawing and Abstract Geometric Collage Making with Originary Arts
22 August 14.00–15.00, 16.00–17.00
South Room, Blavtanik Building, Level 6
This workshop is inspired by Sophie Taeuber-Arp's love for cardboard costume making, masks and marionettes. Draw a live model costumed in paper creations that take their lead from the King Stag marionette characters and Dadaist designs. Plus, create your own unique abstract collage composition by playing with geometric colourful shapes.
Music: Live Performance from Aziya programmed by Little Goat
22 August, 15.00–16.00
South Landscape, Outside Beuys’s Acorns
Catch an intimate and exclusive performance from Aziya, programmed by Little Goat.
Please be aware in the event of wet weather, this performance will move indoors.
