Encounter sound works, situations and performances exploring freedom of movement

'Join Guildhall School postgraduate artists and curators Jan Hendrickse, Nell Catchpole, Jane Cheadle and Detta Danford of Unfinished for an exploration of movement. Based on philosophical texts from a number of traditions about the nature of movement in space and time, this durational event will be an open space in which change takes place continually. Moving through this space, you can encounter sound works, performances and situations in which roles may be undefined. There will be time for listening, reading, relaxation as well as active engagement, offering the opportunity to experience the event from a number of perspectives.

About Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning

Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning is a cultural alliance between an arts centre and conservatoire transforming 21st century learning. The Leadership Masters programme is a pioneering postgraduate programme for musicians who want to develop their artistic voice and create interdisciplinary work that responds to multiple social contexts. Unfinished is an ongoing project curated by Nell Catchpole and Jan Hendrickse, exploring processes of production and the relationship audience and performer.
