Join iconoclastic choreographer Rocío Molina for Accumulated Body, a special performance responding to Theatre Picasso. Molina has coined her own unique choreographic language. Respectful of traditional forms, her flamenco embraces technical virtuosity and conceptual risk.
In Accumulated Body, Molina collaborates with renowned musician José Manuel Ramos “Oruco”.
Doors will open at 18.30, the performance will begin at 19.00. Accumulated Body lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Curated as part of Theatre Picasso by Wu Tsang and Enrique Fuenteblanca, the performances are staged in Tate Modern’s South Tank. The programme reflects Pablo Picasso's fascination with performers and their ability to transform, and with the tension between popular culture and the avant-garde.
Supported by Performance Activation Fund.
Theatre Picasso is presented in The George Economou Gallery. In partnership with White & Case. Also supported by the Huo Family Foundation. With additional support from the Theatre Picasso Exhibition Supporters Circle, Tate Americas Foundation and Tate Members.
This event has been provided by Tate Gallery on behalf of Tate Enterprises Ltd.
