Raqs Media Collective invite you to talk about what it means to remember, and what it takes to forget

Thicket will develop into a conversational performance titled Memorophilia, where twelve people at a time will gather to talk through what it means to remember, and what it takes to forget. Participants will receive a book made and designed by Raqs of fragments from their wide-ranging repertory of concepts and ideas. These fragments will be taken from literature, philosophy, science, poetry, and more. During the conversation led by the Collective, participants will read and engage with different entires from the book.
