You’re invited to explore memories through playing, chatting and creating.
Come and spend time with the stories, feelings and moments that shape who we are. By making marks, moving, and experimenting with different materials, you can discover new connections between what we remember and what we imagine.
Inspired by artists who work with memory and leaving traces, like Erwin Wurm and Richard Long, this is a space to play and leave your mark, even if it is only for a moment.
Open to children of all ages, with special sessions for under-fives on Wednesdays, it is a welcoming place to slow down, create, and see how imagination can help keep our memories alive.
All Tate Modern entrances are step-free. You can enter via the Turbine Hall and into the Natalie Bell Building on Holland Street, or into the Blavatnik Building on Sumner street.
There are lifts to every floor of the Blavatnik and Natalie Bell buildings. Alternatively you can take the stairs.
- Fully accessible toilets are located on every floor on the concourses.
- A quiet room is available to use in the Natalie Bell Building on Level 4.
- Ear defenders can be borrowed from the Ticket desks.
