Join us this summer as we bring art for all with creative workshops

To celebrate Tate Modern turning 25 this year, we are opening the Uniqlo Tate Shop, Art for All until 16 September.

Together with Uniqlo, we invite you to shop, play, and make this summer. With the shop open until 16 September, come and enjoy creative workshops inspired by Tate’s collection, exhibitions and displays.

Explore a range of creative in-store workshops, from DIY fashion styling to origami and Haiku writing, designed to inspire and get you involved.

Workshop by Laxmi Hussain

Participate in a workshop hosted by Laxmi Hussain, where attendees will first create and decorate mini cardboard sculptures before getting creative with their own designs for T-shirts – inspired by the belief that anything can be a canvas and art is everywhere.

Tate has partnered with UNIQLO since 2016, with their support helping Tate Modern provide exciting and inclusive activities that attract new and diverse visitors to the gallery. You can learn more about our partnership through UNIQLO Tate Play.

All Tate Modern entrances are step-free. You can enter via the Turbine Hall and into the Natalie Bell Building on Holland Street, or into the Blavatnik Building on Sumner street.

There are lifts to every floor of the Blavatnik and Natalie Bell buildings. Alternatively you can take the stairs.

  • Fully accessible toilets are located on every floor on the concourses.
  • A quiet room is available to use in the Natalie Bell Building on Level 4.
  • Ear defenders can be borrowed from the Ticket desks.

To help plan your visit to Tate Modern, have a look at our visual story. It includes photographs and information about what you can expect from a visit to the gallery.
