Annotated 'Ruth Francken Exh. '59' on the reverse and stamped 'Universal Photo-Service | 19, Warwick Avenue, | London, W.9. | CUN. 9318'.
Taken at the Ruth Francken private view. Norton [Noel Evelyn, aka 'Peter'] is in the centre of the image, Moore and Williams on the right (in conversation), Halima Nalecz on the left; the woman second from the left has not been indentified. Williams has been identified through comparison with other photographs taken around the same time: he was an exhibitor at the New Vision Centre Gallery, which Nalecz had co-founded.
