Description: Letter from Vanessa Bell, Charleston, Firle, Lewes, Sussex, to Duncan Grant, Hilton, Huntingdonshire, originally enclosing a photograph of Angelica Bell, 'The Russian princess as a child' (1928), and a Sherlock Holmes book by Arthur Conan Doyle. She discusses the departure of Angelica's nurse Louie Dunnet; and her house-hunting for Bunny Garnett, with whom Grant is staying, with the help of Nan Hudson and Jacques-Émile Blanche. Also mentions Roger Fry, Grace Germany, and Leonard and Virginia Woolf.
