- Description
- Letter from Vanessa Bell, Eleanor House, West Wittering, West Sussex, to Duncan Grant. She writes in the same room as Clive Bell talking about Shakespeare and John Maynard Keynes reading aloud from Virginia Woolf's new novel, 'The voyage out'. Vanessa has begun painting Keynes' portrait, and is working on a pair of slippers. She speculates about Grant's relationship with Bunny Garnett and social life with Ottoline Morrell. Written in pencil, with second page especially difficult to read.
