- Description
- Letter from Vanessa Bell, the Grange, Bosham, West Sussex, to Duncan Grant, originally enclosing a stencilled design for a commission from Margery Snowden. She describes a sailing trip with Roger Fry and Clive Bell, which she believed revelatory of Fry's character, and dressmaking with Flossie Selwood. Clive's pamphlet 'Peace at once' has been seized by police with other National Labour Press publications. Also mentions Simon Bussy, Bunny Garnett, Mary Hutchinson, Ottoline Morrell, and Marjorie Strachey.
