Description
Letter from Vanessa Bell, Hotel du Cheval Blanc, La Chartre-sur-le-Loir, Sarthe, France, to Duncan Grant, Paris. Grant is staying with Clive Bell; Vanessa is travelling with Roger Fry, and lists their probable itinerary so that Grant can meet them. She describes their meals and painting trips, but complains that Fry is intellectually demanding, and more depressed than amorous. Also mentions Mabel Selwood and the Bells' children.
