Letter from Vanessa Bell, Durbins, Guildford, Surrey, to Duncan Grant, written over two days during a stay with Roger Fry, where they talked, gardened and painted still lifes of a Madonna lily. She encourages Grant to visit potential patron Lady Howard de Walden (Margarita van Raalte). Also mentions Goldie Dickinson, George Duckworth, Joan Fry, Barbara Hiles, Harry Norton, and Vanessa's cook Trissie Selwood.
