Description
Graphite, ink and watercolour on paper, 375 × 500 mm, 12l sheets are missing

Contains studies of female and male figures, including nudes, landscapes, cats and abstract compositions. All are monotype impressions with occasional additions in the margins. Adler has drawn on the reverse of the sheet with a pointed instrument to transfer the drawn image from the inked block to the sketchbook. At other times Adler drew onto a second sheet with the sketchbook sandwiched this and the ink block at the bottom.
