Graphite, ink and watercolour on paper, 196 × 158 mm

Contains studies of male and female figures, including nudes, ritual objects, studio interiors and still-lifes. Included are names and addresses of Adler's acquaintances in Glasgow on pages 1-3, and an inventory of works produced by Adler after his first arrival in Glasgow (June 1940), inscribed 'Coadbridge 24.X.1940', on page 44. Pages between pages 34 and 35, and pages 84 and 85 were cut out leaving only stubs.
