Description
A drawing of William Rothenstein, with his hands clapsed, facing towards the right. Signed by Rothenstein. Milein Cosman created this drawing during a class taught by Rothenstein during a visit he made to the Slade School of Fine Art in Oxford, after Rothenstein had criticised another drawing by Cosman. Handwritten on the front is '1 1/4'. On the back are annotations by Cosman about the creation of the drawing and how it got ripped after it was sent to Die Zeitung for publication after Rothenstein's death.
