Graphite, crayon, chalk, pastel, ink, and watercolour on paper, 33 pages, one page and covers are missing, 180 × 115 mm

This sketchbook contains a variety of South of France subjects of about 1952, including studies for standing forms and for a monkey seated in a landscape ('Cynocéphale'); also a number of drawings of landscapes and buildings made on the spot.
