Graphite, chalk, and watercolour on paper, 46 pages, 2 pages and covers are missing, 190 × 130 mm

This sketchbook includes a number of studies for the 'Path in Wood' of 1958, and two for part of 'The Armillary Sphere' commissioned in December 1956 and finished by 5 February 1957. There are also several for the portrait of Maja Sacher which was begun in the Autumn of 1958. Over half the pages in this sketchbook are blank.
