Title
Draft letter from Jacques Lipchitz to the technical advisor [Mr Hautecour]
Date
25 November 1936
Description
Lipchitz informs 'conceilleur technique' that his model of the statue 'L'Esprit de la Decouverte' was accepted by the Commission for Decoration, with some modifications. Mr Leveille asked Lipchitz to show the model to Mr Laugier who was not present at the Commission and asked for other modifications. Lipchitz has also shown the model to the director, Jean Perrin, also absent of the Commission. Now he expects 'firm contract with fixed deadline'. Handwriting of this letter is different from Jacques Lipchitz's usual handwritting.
