Description
The letter concerns Esptein's 'Consummatum Est' 1936, which he asks Samuels to raise subscriptions for it to be sold to Liverpool Cathedral or Liverpool Art Gallery in light of an unfavourable offer of £750 for exhibiting purposes which Epstein describes as 'vulgar exploitation'.
