Description
Graphite and ink on paper, 20 pages, 288 × 226 mm

No front or back covers. Many of the sketches in this sketchbook appear to have been copied from earlier works (including Rembrandt's 'Jael') or executed in imitation of an earlier artistic style. There are also preparatory sketches for Savacou, including of the plinth, and several studies of male and female heads and nudes. Two of the sketches in this book may be studies of Helene Moody, Ronald Moody's wife.
Format
